April Cooley
April Cooley established Cooley Tax + Accounting in 2013 after years of bookkeeping for small businesses and preparing taxes for businesses and individuals. Becoming a sole-owner of her business has allowed April the flexibility to spend more time with her family, produce quality services for her clients and continue her education.
April is always looking for opportunities to better serve her clients. She keeps up-to-date on the ever-changing tax laws and researches the latest industry trends and tools. She received her Enrolled Agent credential in 2018, which allows her to represent clients before the Internal Revenue Service and requires annual continued education.
Before moving to Alaska, April received her B.S. in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting, from Oregon State University in 2002.
In her free time, April enjoys spending time with her family, running, and exploring Alaska.
